Tonight turned out to be awesome fun! We had no idea what we were going to do for Halloween (ha, like we really needed to but you know..) I worked til 5:30 and then Sarah and I went to pick up Ben then met over at Dave’s. We ate at Applebee’s and then decided to go get some ice cream at Coldstone Creamery, (dave’s bro’s fiance owns one) what amazing ice cream- only my second time. Then we werent sure what to do afterwards- egg a house or two? toliet paper? go see if any trains would appear out of nowhere after going across the tracks 6 times (FRICKE! 🙂 )? So we ended up going to City Island and walking around the vacant grounds. It was all lit up and still had some of the fun stuff out that we could goof off. What fun it ended up being- taking pics, Ben’s extreme walking on a wall, walking along ‘the ghetto beach’, finding a talking parot toy/arcade game in the middle of nowhere in the park, reminded us of ‘Big’ (IT TALKED!), “SKANK! yeah ok Slick!” Ben, Dave & Sarah on a kid coin operated carousel! walking on the bridge and talking about falling in. It ended up being a wonderfully fun night for all 4 of us. I couldnt have asked for better on a Halloween night….Now Happy All Saints Day!

Hey there! I’m so glad you stopped by my blog!

I’m a wife to a realtor and a momma to 2 energetic boys, living in a bi-level home (some people call it a split level) and fixing it up to suit us. I love a good DIY and being creative. I am passionate about history and  visiting historical places like it’s my job- particularly Colonial time period. I love finding antiques/vintage and rustic items to add to my home decor, vacationing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and fantasizing about trips to Scotland. Read more

On this blog I share a lot of those things and more, so comment, share, subscribe and come along for the ride!
