So we’ve been busy. Mainly with fair season. 2 parades this year. Ephrata and New Holland. Ephrata is tradition its the first thing we did together as we were getting to know each other pre-official dating. So we used the two buckets that our friends had blocked the space off (Ephrata is nuts at parade time. They block off their spots two days before. So no one takes the prime spot for them) and we (well Joe and his friend Steve from church) made a game out of it for the people throwing candy they had to make it in the bucket. Everything even flyers it was nuts. Heres me with the egg— yes egg, hard boiled of course that one float threw. We couldnt believe it. I thought it was a squishy foamy egg or something. No no it was a REAL egg…
Joe took me out to dinner for my birthday on the 20th. He took me to a place in Lancaster called the Symposium. It is a Greek/Mediaterrean restaurant. I got London Broil yummm. He got me a sapphire pendant on a yellow gold chain. I couldn’t believe it. He says I deserve it. Do I deserve a guy that is that good to me? God must think so! Then that friday night he got all our friends together and took me to Rockwell’s as a surprise. I took pictures of all the people there most were couples or their significant other couldnt be there. Joe is with our friend Jeanne who’s boyfriend (a close friend of Joe’s) couldnt be there. I ‘lent’ him to her to be in a picture haha. Surprisingly i didnt get one of Joe and I. I keep meaning to get a pic of us during each holiday or our birthdays but it doesnt happen. Here you go…
Michelle and I got a ‘sisters at heart’ picture. So it was GREAT. Good friends, good food. Ah 25 wasnt so bad I guess!
How ironic, I took Chris to the Symposium for his 25th birthday too! I just wanted to tell you that we really wish we could have been at your “surprise” birthday dinner. We had tickets to go see RUTH at the Sight and Sound and that isn’t something that you can reschedule, so I’m sorry we weren’t able to be there. Sounds like you had a great night. So, happy belated birthday, hope it was fantastic. What a great husband you have to go to all that work to make your birthday something memorable. We’ll get together soon.
cute pics – i’m glad i’ll get to see you on saturday, but i’m a little disappointed it’ll be all business. that stinks… i was looking foward to swapping wedding pictures and catching up. oh well š maybe in another two years or so …
tara, i eat pieces of crap like you for breakfast
the difference between you and me is… i make this look good.
