Well this is it, the last day of the year 2005. I look to 2006 like I’ve never looked at a year before. Normally it was with hope. Hope that I would find the one. But when you have that you can only look to brighter tomorrows knowing who you’re with. This is the year I’ve been waiting for my whole life (well maybe since i was a teenager) The year I’m going to be a bride, a wife and a helpmate. I can only look to it with excited anticipation and know that I am in the center of God’s will. You can’t help but be confident in that. So my prayer for you all is that you will find Jesus in your heart this year if you havent and if you have that He will be a greater part of yours this year.
Hey there! I’m so glad you stopped by my blog!
I’m a wife to a realtor and a momma to 2 energetic boys, living in a bi-level home (some people call it a split level) and fixing it up to suit us. I love a good DIY and being creative. I am passionate about history and visiting historical places like it’s my job- particularly Colonial time period. I love finding antiques/vintage and rustic items to add to my home decor, vacationing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and fantasizing about trips to Scotland. Read more
On this blog I share a lot of those things and more, so comment, share, subscribe and come along for the ride!

Just wanted to tell you I like the picture on your Xanga, cool pose with the candle “effect.” So this is the year you get to become a MRS. Happy New Year!
Hey Tara, it’s Laura from Grace. Congrats on your engagement! How are you doing?
I’m working full time. I graduated in Dec 04. I’m not engaged yet, but I’ve been dating Caleb Hoffmann for 2.5 years. We plan on getting married, just need to save up some money.
