Still haven’t bought mom a gift for Mother’s Day? I have you covered. Well hopefully… Some of these things you should probably order today but you might get away with telling her…it’s being shipped Mom. I can’t say I know that from experience but anyway, here they are….
1. Personalized Birthstone Necklace
Last year my brother and I bought my mom this necklace last Mother’s Day and she loved it! We included my boys in it. So it has my brother and I’s birthstones and the boys. Then it has hand stamped leaves that have each of our initials on it. I liked it so much I want one of my own.
2. Themed Mason Jar
If you want to get creative fill a big mason jar of items she might like. Her favorite treats, or a spa theme- get nail polish, lotion, scrub, lip balm, etc. Get creative and look on Pinterest for ideas! There are tons of them! Another idea that I heard of is make an ‘Appreciation Jar’. You and your siblings write down things that they appreciate about your mom, special memories, things that will make her laugh, etc. When she is needs a pick me up she can pull some out and read them!
There are tons of these on Etsy. Get each of her kids’ names hand stamped on each ring or get birthstone rings instead. There are tons of options on Etsy. Here is a link to a search on Etsy for them.
4. Faux Lavender Plant
These are very popular in Farmhouse decor. Instead of getting her flowers that eventually die get her a plant she can keep and decorate with. You can find them at Hobby Lobby and Home Goods to name a few.
5. Vera Bradley Super Soft Throw
This throw is AMAZING! I own one and cover up with it every night when I’m lounging around at home! I take it traveling with me in the car on road trips and vacations. It’s just a great blanket! You can find them at card stores, boutiques, Vera Bradley outlets, basically anywhere that sells Vera Bradley.
This idea came from my own mother this past weekend. We saw two in a boutique and she really liked it and said we could get it for her as a gift. Ha! The one we saw was umbrellas and there was also birds nests. It was really neat and I had not see anything like it or heard of it before.
Well there you have it. Some different ideas for Mother’s Day gifts that you might not have thought of. Let me know if you use any of these ideas!
To all the Mothers, Grandmothers and soon to be mothers out there- Have a Happy Mother’s Day!
