Last night it poured like crazy but that didnt keep me in the house. I went over to the coffeehouse and journaled. I had all intents in reading ‘The Notebook’ but God had other plans for me. First DJ talked to me for a little. Then Lisa stopped by to chill for a little while and then Darin and his friend from Messiah sat with us and talked. So i got SOME journaling done but it was worth it. Lisa left soon after and Darin asked me if i wanted to play a few rounds of Kings with them. Well I won the first time i ever played lol! I dont know its this record I have of every new game i learn I win some how.
Him and his friend- I feel so bad i think his name is John- were going to see ‘The Terminal’ and asked me if i wanted to join them. I thought eh why the heck not- i dont have to go in to work til 12 so i accepted. However we got there and there was a projector problem so they cancelled the 950 showing! Bummer. So we decided to go see ‘Anchorman’ which im sorry but i didnt really care for it. Actually I dont apologize- its just my opinion! Anyhow it was a great night cuz i had NO expectations- just to go journal, read and sip my chai. Great things happen when u dont have any expectations~ gotta remember from experience now!
Hey there! I’m so glad you stopped by my blog!
I’m a wife to a realtor and a momma to 2 energetic boys, living in a bi-level home (some people call it a split level) and fixing it up to suit us. I love a good DIY and being creative. I am passionate about history and Ā visiting historical places like it’s my job- particularly Colonial time period. I love finding antiques/vintage and rustic items to add to my home decor, vacationing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and fantasizing about trips to Scotland. Read more
On this blog I share a lot of those things and more, so comment, share, subscribe and come along for the ride!
