Sarah and I went to NYC yesterday for the day to get out of PA for once. It was a beautifully sunny day perfect for walking 50 some blocks! LOL yes we walked from Times square all the way down to Chinatown! Got my mom the Burberry perfume she wanted for real cheap- it was the real thing i might add! On the way we stopped in Macy’s – rude salespeople i tell you what! I bought these cute Tommy Hilfiger small star earrings with a cubic zirconia chip for real cheap. We took the subway back up to Times Square and ended up eating at Planet Hollywood- wickedly raised prices from the last time i was there i might add! I walked through this thing where this sensor things starts the applause and picture taking like your a star lol! We watched the ice skaters at Rockfellar, went to Banana- well Sarah did while i went into St Patrick’s Cathedral- its SO amazing! Then we walked up to The Plaza and walked around inside and then out to Central Park and took some pics it was just SOO beautiful! So many carriage drivers wanted us to ride. I was lookin out for the Irish ones they are the best haha! Well then we went to the Trump Towes which the stores are closed in- bummer. Then to the NBA store which was crazy ha! We ended up eating a yogurt cup at Au Bon Pain and then walked back to Times Square to get the bus. It was so nice to walk around NYC without our parents and go where we wanted to go and spend as much time as we wanted.
Hey there! I’m so glad you stopped by my blog!
I’m a wife to a realtor and a momma to 2 energetic boys, living in a bi-level home (some people call it a split level) and fixing it up to suit us. I love a good DIY and being creative. I am passionate about history and visiting historical places like it’s my job- particularly Colonial time period. I love finding antiques/vintage and rustic items to add to my home decor, vacationing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and fantasizing about trips to Scotland. Read more
On this blog I share a lot of those things and more, so comment, share, subscribe and come along for the ride!
