Here’s the thing I love sharing my favorite things. I set out to share my favorites every Friday. That is getting to be a big task. Especially since I like to film them because it’s easier to share them verbally and visually and then provide the links. So this may be my last one until the end of February. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to share anything that is a favorite until then. That is what this blog is all about, sharing what I am loving, being part of it. Here is the link to my YouTube video supplement to this post.
Letter board – I have been loving changing the letter board out with different quotes or signs. It’s nice to use if you are having a party. I just used it this weekend for our son’s party.
Earrings– I get so many compliments on these earrings! My friend is a Chloe and Isabel consultant and I recently had a party and love their jewelry. I was looking for a pair of black earrings and I am glad I purchased them.
Cuff bracelet– I love feathers and wanted to incorporate them into my jewelry more. Love this bracelet!
Munchkin 360 stainless steel cup– we love the 360 cups but I am trying to use less plastic. Plus this one keeps drinks colder longer.
Rodan and Fields Daily Body Moisturizer– I love the smell of this lotion. Plus it’s good for your skin!
Lanyard and ID case– I love the lanyard for more hands free to help the kids. It’s great for when you go to the playground. Also the ID case is nice so when I’m just using the backpack diaper bag I don’t have to take my whole wallet.
Coastal Scents Neutral Palette– I had been hearing a lot about Coastal Scents on YouTube and say a great sale on this palette and decided to try it. I’m really pleased with it.
Outlander- you can find these books at most any bookstore and library. I have been really getting into the tv show and books. Now DISCLAIMER— with most premium channel made programs (it is on Starz) it is not for children and contains mature content. It is set back in the 1700s Scotland and then moves to America. Claire lives in the 1940s goes to Scotland on a second honeymoon with her husband after they have both served in World War II. She falls through time at a stone circle and meets Highlanders! She meets Jamie Fraser and to save herself has to marry him. Thinking she will never get back to her modern life she adapts to life there until the Battle of Culloden which puts an end to the highland culture. Think no tartan, no Gaelic, no bagpipes. It has some weird stuff in it but Clarie and Jamie’s romance and the history is so amazing. Several of my friends are into the books and the series. Another warning: the series is currently eight books long with 900 or so pages each. Diana Gabaldon, the writer, is working on the 9th book and she intends to complete the series with the 10th book! This story has made me want to visit Scotland and dig into my family genealogy!
I hope you enjoyed this post and found something new to check out! Let me know down in the comments what you have been loving lately!
