SPRING WHERE ARE YOU???

I can’t wait for spring to get here. I love to wear my flip flops capris and short sleeve shirts. I’m so tired of wearing my fake Uggs, sweaters and bundling up to go outside. I actually really like the new colors and styles- they are kind of growing on me. Except the bright yellow- that will never be one I will where- it doesn’t go with my skin tone. Although there was an Old Navy polo or was it GAP? Any how it was more of a buttercup yellow- I loved it. But I lost weight and had to ditch it.

I can’t wait to be able to wear shorts to the gym. Tonight after my post-gym shower I put on some natural glow lotion and I love how it looks already. I need that every spring! I can’t wait to go shopping for some new dresses (all I own are the classic black- strapless with bright embroidery, black classy looking, and a dressy black one I almost never wear). We have 3 weddings this summer so I have to get some summer dresses if it kills me!

Oh and check out what we just got for Free!!!

I love it!!! It’s a little too big for our apt (in my opinion) but we aren’t going to be here real long anyways. So when we have a house it will be perfect! My co-workers daughter wanted to get rid of it and was offering it for free. So of course I jumped on that chance!

Spring is finally showing it’s face around here. šŸ˜‰ As for dresses, my fave places to find them are JCPenney (their Bisou Bisou line is awesome), NY&CO, and http://www.shabbyapple.com. Have fund shopping!

Hey there! I’m so glad you stopped by my blog!

I’m a wife to a realtor and a momma to 2 energetic boys, living in a bi-level home (some people call it a split level) and fixing it up to suit us. I love a good DIY and being creative. I am passionate about history and Ā visiting historical places like it’s my job- particularly Colonial time period. I love finding antiques/vintage and rustic items to add to my home decor, vacationing in the Outer Banks of North Carolina and fantasizing about trips to Scotland. Read more

On this blog I share a lot of those things and more, so comment, share, subscribe and come along for the ride!
