Since it has snowed all day yesterday and it is Thanksgiving, we are in the thick of sweater weather. Therefore, I am finally participating in the sweater weather tag. I have always enjoyed watching these on you tube or reading them on blogs. So here we go:
1. Favorite candle scent?
I don’t buy candles too often because for some reason it takes me forever to burn down a jar. But I have been enjoying BB&W Mulled Cider. I also would love to purchase Spiced Apple Toddy and Marshmallow Fireside which is a favorite of many social media personalities.
2. Coffee, Tea, or Hot Chocolate?
Can I say all 3? It depends on my mood or time of day. I’d say coffee in the morning to wake me up, tea during the day or in the evening to call me down and hot chocolate with extra creamy whipped cream in the evening as a little treat and night cap!
3. Do you switch up your makeup routine for the season?
I may be more inclined to use a heavier foundation than my usual dream smooth mousse by Maybelline. I also will use a bit darker eyeshadow, blush and lip.
4. Favorite Thanksgiving food?
The turkey! I love turkey! I love to have it in sandwiches the next day or whatever my mom makes for dinner the next day since my son and I spend time there during weekend every year. Also, anything pumpkin for dessert!
5. Hats or scarves?
I’m definitely a scarf girl! I would love however to get one of those felt or wool wine color floppy hats that are in style this season as a way to mix things up and be more um, festive? But I definitely have alot of scarves. I like to wear them at work as well not just outside to keep warm!
6. Most worn sweater?
Most worn sweater? Hmmm…I don’t really have one! I’ve just gotten back into sweaters. For years I avoided them and chose to layer because I always got so darn hot! Now I get cold at work and love to be warm so I’ve put them back into my wardrobe!
7. Must have Fall nail polish?
I hate applying nail polish but just got into it and found a wonderful bronze nail polish in use guessed it Bronze! It is by Milani and dries so quickly which is perfect for this smudge prone girl!
8. Football games or jumping in a pile of leaves?
I’d say football games! I love a bit of team comrodery!
9. Skinny jeans or leggings?
It depends where I’m going ha! I’d say leggings if I’m out and about or going to work with a long sweater and my riding boots. Jeans if I’m going to a game, a casual party or just need to be more dressed up.
10. Boots or Uggs?
I’d say boots but if I just want to be comfortable and shopping it’s actually my bearpaws. No high priced Uggs here, sorry!
11. What is your #1 favorite thing about fall?
The cozy feeling you get, the smells, bonfires, not worrying about how my clothes fit. And on that note, being able to run outside if I want to and it not being so blazin’ hot! oh and hot chocolate, pumpkins the colors…I could go on and on!
12. Do you have a song that gets you in the Fall mood or just a song you’re loving at the moment?
Not really anything that gets me in the mood. I am digging Sam Hunt’s Leave the Night On though!
13. What is your Fall weather like where you currently live?
A mixed bag. Where I live we could get what we call ‘Indian Summer’ well into November. It’s where it gets into the 70s some days and then freezing cold the next day! Nature seems to be hormonal right now. It was in the 70s the other day and now we have snow on the ground for Thanksgiving. Crazy! I think Nature got mixed up what holiday it is!
And there you have it! I want to really try and get into this blogging thing and get on a schedule. My husband hijacks the laptop and that’s the only thing I can really use to type out my blog on.
