Lately, I would say within the past year I have been writing companies that have products that I use. I have been writing them predominately if I have issues but love their product. I have read that other bloggers however, recommended writing them to tell them that you love their product and request coupons. Sometimes they send you, for instance, two free coupons for that product.
I decided to write Hefty because our trash can lid stopped staying shut after less than a year. They offered to send us a new lid! I wrote JIF when their Natural Peanut Butter was a soupy mess. I buy this on the regular and knew write from wrong consistency. They sent me a free product coupon. A few years ago I wrong Unilever regarding the new Degree Motionsense deodorant I had bought. This may sound gross but I felt like I was eating the scent every time it activated it was that strong! If you get my drift. They sent me a free coupon to pick a different Degree deodorant. Most recently I wrote Gogo Squeeze because I had noticed that the squeeze pouches that I just bought were stamped ‘best buy 7/14/14’! I had already thrown out the box and my receipt. I didn’t think they would believe me at the store so I wrote the company to see what they thought I should do. They told me they would send me a coupon for free product!
When I say write the company, all you have to do is simply go to the products website and go to the ‘contact us’ section. Fill out your information. See what topic fits your issue if there is a drop down menu. It may ask for more infotmtion regarding the product such as, LOT #, Model #, Serial #, Date on the packaging, etc.
Do not be afraid to contact a company with your concerns, they want to hear from their consumers! The only time I received somewhat ‘negative’ response was I wrote all the main companies that make toiletries such as Johnson and Johnson, Palmolive, Unilever, etc. I wrote to them a couple of years ago regarding my concern for all the cancer causing/carcinogenic ingredients. They all responded that they use the amounts that are allowed by the FDA. HA! Well what started happening in recent years? They started producing the same products or new products without Phalates, Parabens, etc. It’s a step in the right direction!
Have you received any awesome responses from companies whose products you enjoy?
